November 19, 2014 - Living in comparatively tropical Vancouver, BC all my life has always made it easy to get the other 33 million Canadians jealous of us every winter, but at the same time, I always wanted to throw myself into a true Canadian winterscape once for a long period of time - hence my stopover in Winnipeg on my way to Nunavut. Yes, it was cold - but if you dress for the occasion, you'll do just fine. The cold never bothered me anyway.
