On November 5, FGCU students, faculty and staff lined up to have their heads shaved to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research. The event, organized by FGCU students, began as a Civic Engagement project in 2011. Over 200 participants "braved the shave," raising over $15,000 to benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Stylists from Zervos' Salon donated their services for the event.
