While at Brigham Young University Education Week, Lesa attended a class that changed her life. The class was called "I'm So Busy I Don't Have Time For That: Taking Control." For years Lesa said she was going to finish her BYU degree, but doubt crept in as she thought about returning to school with all of life's responsibilities. But when the presenter said, "You have to be willing to take a risk and go out on a limb," Lesa knew she was talking to her. The BYU Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) was her risk, and it paid off for her.
