This is my take on the famous South African Eet Sum Mor biscuits. My mom loved making this recipe and its from her that I got the recipe. Made with real butter and love, you won't go wrong with this recipe. You family and friends will love it too!
In the video tutorial I share with you the different shapes and styles of biscuits I make using this simple homemade dough. These biscuits stays fresh for up to 6 weeks when storing in an airtight container and using real butter.
The recipe can be doubled with excellent results. The ingredients listed makes between 50 - 60 biscuits depending on size.
Ingredients:
250g butter
1 cup oil (sunflower or vegetable)
1 cup icing sugar
3 tablespoons cornflour
Approx 4 cups flour
Bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown in colour.
