Foodborne pathogens are causing a great number of diseases with significant effects on human health and the economy and the resulting foodborne diseases are becoming a global issue. That’s why a unified and joint approach by all countries and the relevant international organizations is a prerequisite for the identification and control of all emerging foodborne problems that threaten human health and international trade.
This foodtech lecture video provides the viewers with the knowledge of different food-borne diseases, the characteristics of the pathogens involved, the related symptoms and much more. Also, the knowledge acquired would allow the viewers to brainstorm for making some efforts to prevent contamination of foods on the farm, in processing, in restaurants and homes.
