In this video I demonstrate how to remove the transit bolt from a new Defy Washer/Dryer 8/5kg before its first use of the machine. Transit Bolts are screws added to the back of washing machine/washer by the manufacturer. These help keep the machine's washing drum in place while the machine is in transit, as the name suggests transit bolts.
It is a requirement to remove these bolts before first use of the washing machine/washer&dryer, as failure to remove these might cause your machine to be faulty.
