This promo was the first of two Launch promos made for Series 1 of Drop Dead Diva. For those of you who know the show, you will know that it is quite a complicated storyline. And the main aim if this promo was to give as much information about Deb/Jane's story as possible, whilst at the same time creating a lively and fun feel for the show. It was the sole form of advertising (no use of outdoor/press/etc.) to promote the show.
The series premier came in at more than double the estimated viewership ratings.
