LM35 Temperature Sensor. Hot 🥵 or Cold 🥶

The LM35 is a temperature sensor giving an output of approximately 10mV/C
A LM358 op-amp allows us to detect and switch on a set threshold. The set potentiometer is connected to the inverting pin 2. The LM35 is connected to the non-inverting pin 3. The output pin 1 switches the relay drive transistor Q1. Note the back emf diode connected across the relay coil.
We set the threshold at 100’C via the potentiometer. As soon as the temperature reaches 100’C the op-amp switches the transistor and relay.
