This talk is inspired by Churchill’s words, it highlights the courage needed to overcome setbacks, counter naysayers, and stay the course through inevitable challenges. It emphasizes that the technology for a sustainable, green future is “good to go” — sufficiently developed and ready for implementation. For Europe, seizing the green electrons and molecules opportunity is essential to prevent further loss of economic competitiveness against other regions, ensuring its leadership in the green transition. Together, we can transform resilience into real environmental and economic impact. Alexander Voigt, Physicist & Entrepreneur
In the 1980s, while studying math and physics, Alexander Voigt developed climate models that revealed the severe impact of CO₂ emissions. This sparked a 30-year journey founding companies to advance renewable energy. His ventures helped pioneer Germany's solar industry, with one reaching a €5 billion market cap and global leadership in photovoltaics. Now, with HH2E, Voigt is converting surplus wind and solar into green hydrogen, targeting 4 GW of production in Germany by 2030 and revitalizing the solar sector. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
