It's time! My Ryobi Drill now operates intermittently! Every time I change the battery and during battery use....it may work and it may not work... Time to get rid of it! So I figured it was time to move up to an impact driver. The Dewalt impact driver DCF787 20 Volt Max was the answer. It was under $100 and by my testing, it will suit my needs perfectly. Strong enough to twist a 1/4" lag bolt off... plenty of power.... enjoy....
