About This Video:
Sheesh Mahal or Palace of Mirrors is a place made by hundreds and thousands of mirrors assorted together. In earlier times, such palaces were made by the Indian Maharajas to show off their weath and prosperity, and they still remain a proper heritage for our country.
These palaces are often found in princely states like Rajasthan and Lahore, but do you know a famous sculpture has recently built a Sheesh Mahal in Asansol? You don't believe me? Mr. Susanta Roy has successfully finished the work on Asansol's First Sheesh Mahal in Mohishila and the place is open for general public. So, when are you visiting?
We also visited the Wax museum in the Ground Floor of the building and explored the place. Apart from Sushant Singh Rajput's wax statue, the place also has was statues of:
1) Virat Kohli
2) Mamata Banerjee
3) Amitabh Bachhan
4) Ronaldinho
5) Uttam Kumar Chattopadhyay
6) Soumitra Chattopadhyay
7) Neeraj Chopra
And many more...
The wax museum and Sheesh Mahal is in Mohishila, Asansol, West Bengal.
Entry Fees:
₹50 for Students.
₹100 for General Public.
Timings:
11AM - 7:30PM.
