Ingredients: -
• 250g black-eyed beans (soaked for an hour) (لوبیا)
• 2 medium-sized onions (پیاز)
• 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste (ادرک لہسن پیسٹ)
• 2 tomatoes puree (ٹماٹر پیسٹ)
• Half cup fresh cream (کریم)
• Half cup coriander (دھنیا)
• 3 green chilies (ہری مرچیں)
• 1 tsp salt (نمک)
• 1 tsp red pepper powder (لال مرچ پاوڈر)
• ½ tsp turmeric (ہلدی)
• 1 tsp dried coriander powder (سوکھا دھنیا پاوڈر)
Recipe: -
1. In a pressure cooker, add black-eyed beans and a cup of water.
2. Cover it and let it boil for 3-4 minutes until the first whistle. Then transfer it to a bowl.
3. Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan. Then add onion and fry until brown.
4. Add ginger garlic paste and fry until its color changes.
5. Add powdered spices. Mix it and cook for a few seconds.
6. Add tomato puree and mix it well. Then add boiled beans and fresh cream.
7. Mix it well. Then cover the pan and, on low flame, let it cook for 10-12 minutes.
8. Garnish green chilies and coriander. Mix them well.
9. Delicious Curried Black-Eyed Beans are ready.
