Opening statements began Monday in the triple murder trial of ‘doomsday cult’ mom Lori Vallow Daybell. She is accused of killing her two children, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow, along with her fifth husband’s late wife, Tammy Daybell. After opening statements, jurors heard testimony from Kay Woodcock, the sister of Lori’s fourth husband Charles Vallow and grandmother of J.J. Vallow. Brandon Boudreaux, one of Daybell’s family members, also testified.
