The third on our list is New Zealand's first manual coffee bar where espresso machines do not disrupt conversations.
Elaine and Zuyi were incredible hosts. The manually brewed pour overs and coffee cocktails were not only delicious but they also awoke dormant taste buds and were a testament to how new and reformed can be just as good as the well tested and routine.
We talked about the C price and sustainability in the coffee industry as well as how some people are still unsure why the price of a cup of coffee in coffee shops is higher than in any other facility.
This is how they describe themselves:
Our aim is to serve quality hand brewed specialty filter coffee and
to educate people about the art and craft of this process. There is no
coffee machine in sight but plentiful offerings of various brew methods
using single origin beans from the best roasteries in the country.
In such a fast paced world, we offer a space to help you slow down,
be mindful, connect and really taste the coffee.
