Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan. President Xi hailed the two countries' strong friendship and said they would remain close even if there was a change in regional or international situations. The Pakistani leader congratulated the People's Republic of China on its 70th founding anniversary last week, and said he looked forward to deepening cooperation under the China-led Belt and Road Initiative.
