The YORK Athletics Mfg. has been a training shoe that has intrigued me for quite some time. As a model with a classier and timely look I was curious, "How will The Frank Trainer performer?"
I like The Frank Trainer's supportive leather midfoot cage and responsive EVA foam midsole. This shoe works best for class and athletic-style workouts. Despite enjoying this model, there are a few cons to note about this shoe.

Across the board, I've enjoyed the YORK Athletics Frank Trainer's performance.
I could see this being a really good training shoe for anyone interested in a model for some moderate lifting, HIIT workouts, short runs, explosive training, and daily wear.
The classier look of this model gives it a nice edge for anyone that wants a training shoe to double for daily wear.
This will NOT be your best model for CrossFit or maximal barbell training. There are also a few construction quirks to note about this model before investing.
