Hey folks. Just got my new Samsung Galaxy S7 last weekend and I was excited to hear that Samsung brought back water resistance. My family and I stayed in a hotel so I thought it would be the perfect time to test the phone under normal swimming circumstances.

The phone continues to work fine but as reported by several websites, the speakers become distorted. In my case, it was only temporary but others are reporting permanent speaker damage. Be careful when using your new phone in water.
