I'm planning to riding a bit more this year after my efforts last year fizzled out a bit. That required a new motorcycle, at least in my mind. Probably not a bad idea given that my current "daily bike" is turning 30 this year

As a serial BMW owner, the choice wasn't that hard when I found a reasonably priced 2006 R1200GS Adventure fairly local to me. That's new enough hopefully with all the other projects going on.

I'll show you around the bike and try to figure what I got myself into. Once it's registered in a couple of weeks, I'll test it out properly.
