The third clause of the Indigenous Voice to Parliament amendment makes it “crystal clear” it is up to the Parliament to decide what advice it will act on, says Minister for Indigenous Australians Linda Burney.
“Of course there is going to be the scare campaign,” Ms Burney told Sky News Australia host Chris Kenny.
“Slowly and surely, the misinformation and disinformation is becoming less and less because each of the nonsense that is being spouted is being dealt with.”
