Local elections in several eastern Ukrainian cities have begun.
Residents in Mariupol and nearby Krasnoarmiysk are voting for city council deputies and other mayors. Both locations are near areas controlled by combined Russian-separatist forces.
Political tensions and allegations of election violations forced the vote to be postponed last month.
