While God loves the whole world and was the propitiation for the sins of mankind not all will receive this beautiful gift. When we come to Christ, we come as sinners. Those who are guilty and in need of life. To believe upon Christ is to receive a new nature and a whole new way of living. We can no longer walk after the pattern of this world because we belong to a different kingdom. To harden our heats is to alienate ourselves from the very life source we need for eternal life.
