The vehicle in this video is a 1996 Mercedes 300SD which is equipped from the factory with a 3.0 diesel engine. The same engine can also be found in the following vehicles: - W140 300DSL - W140 S300 The specific engine code of this vehicle was OM606 but it also has the same layout as the OM603 which has one more cylinder. The glowplugs on these vehicles are commonly hard to remove on the rear 2 cylinders due to water entering the engine bay and surrounding the glowplug, causing the cylinder head to rust and the glowplug body to corrode.
