A global pandemic requires a global solution. The AGILE drug testing platform aims to find potential COVID-19 treatments and fast-track them through early phase clinical trials, with a focus on affordable treatments that can be accessed by communities anywhere in the world. In this trial, funded by Unitaid, the AGILE team are looking at whether the existing drug Nitazoxanide can find new purpose for global use in the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
