US President Donald Trump has enlisted senior Cabinet secretaries to formulate a plan to make available crucial funds for the country's oil and gas industry as the US oil price drops below zero.
Due to the far reaching grave economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the oil and gas industry have been forced to drop close to 51,000 drilling and refining jobs in march alone.
The President has instructed Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette and Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin to design the plan aimed at alleviating the financial pressure on the industry.
"We will never let the great U.S Oil and Gas Industry down," President Trump wrote.
