On average, each year roughly 60 tornadoes will touch down across the state of Florida. In 2024 alone, over 100 would occur.
Some residents in Florida would escape this storm season rather unscaved however the same can't be said about many others. Multiple tornado outbreaks and 3 hurricanes ensured nearly every person in Florida would be affected in some way. In the 4 years I have lived in Florida, this was easily the worst storm season I have experienced so far.
