This week's Throwback Thursday classic goal - proudly supported by The World of Cars - is a close-range volley from Chris Burns, against Rotherham United.
The strike was the last in a 5-0 rout of The Millers, which guided Jim Smith's Blues into the third round of the League Cup during the 1993-94 season.
And it would prove to be a fruitful cup run for Pompey, who were eventually knocked out at the quarter-final stage at the hands of Premier League champions Manchester United.
Chris Burns - a former bricklayer from Cheltenham - was known more for his no-nonsense approach to the game than dazzling technical skill, which is part of the reason the Fratton Park faithful took him to their hearts.
Burns represented Pompey 90 times in four seasons, over a five-year stint on the south coast, between 1990-94.
