After the First World War, the German Emperor Wilhelm II, King of Prussia, went into exile. Netherlands granted asylum. On November 11, 1918, he got off his train at the old station Maarn, which we pass at 10:21. He then had a train with 59 wagons with personal belongings come over. He lived nearby at Amerongen Castle for 2 years and then in Huis Doorn until his death in 1941. Along the way, the Cabview Holland Express is filmed at Bunnik by Spotter VIP Pepijn. Enjoy watching!

Na de Eerste Wereldoorlog ging de Duitse Keizer Wilhelm II, Koning van Pruissen, in ballingschap. Nederland verleende asiel. Op 11 november 1918 stapte hij uit zijn trein op het oude station Maarn, wat we op 10:21 passeren. Hij liet hierna een trein met 59 wagons met persoonlijke bezittingen overkomen. Hij heeft 2 jaar op Kasteel Amerongen gewoond en daarna in Huis Doorn tot zijn dood in 1941. Onderweg wordt de Cabview Holland Express op Bunnik gefilmd door Spotter VIP Pepijn. Veel kijkplezier!
