This chickpea omelette is the best invention for a vegan breakfast since sliced bread! It’s vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and of course, egg-free, yet tastes surprisingly similar to egg omelettes! If you haven't cooked with chickpea flour yet, you have to try this recipe! It cooks up like magic!
you can add any of your favorite ingredients like mushrooms, peppers, spinach, or onions. Fold in some vegan cheese and you will have an unbelievable vegan chickpea omelet!
My recipe ingredients are :-
🫒chick pea flour - 2 cups
🫒water - 1 and 1/4 cups
🫒vegetable of your choice
🥦cilantro
🥦grated ginger
🥦coriander powder - 1 tspn
🥦roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tspn
🥦salt - 1 tspn
🥦turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn optional
🥦black pepper - 1/4 tspn optional
🥦lemon juice - 2 tspns
🥦baking powder - 1/4 tspn
mix all together
spread over the skillet on medium heat from both sides and this is ready.
Enjoy with curd / yogurt / cottage cheese or simply tomato ketchup
