Welcome to another winter hike through! Starting off from the previous week's Nymph Lake Trail, we make our way to Dream Lake! Part 2 of this adventure takes us to Dream Lake, the second of 3 lakes on this hike.

Dream Lake is a light 1.1-mile hike from the Bear Lake parking lot in the Rocky Mountain Nation Park. This is the second portion of the trails to Emerald Lake and is moderate in difficulty due to its elevation gain to 9,900ft! It presents with a slight incline throughout, making it a great small workout, and complete with a lovely view of Hallet's Peak when reaching the lake. In this video, the lake is sadly frozen, however, the snow and foggy mountaintops make this a beautiful view regardless. Typically this lake thrives in the Spring and Summer months when the lake is transformed with Rainbow Trout and Mountain Mallards.
