Young people from all over the country are competing against each other this weekend in Crystal Palace Sports Centre, in the inaugural Fire Cadets Games.

Fire Cadets is a scheme run by the Fire Brigade that aims to educate young people on fire safety and give them skills to improve themselves and the community.

The weekend’s activities will include the cadets competing against each in fire drills as well as stalls aiming to educate the public on fire safety, the Fire Cadets program and other community resources.
