John Wayne's first ever movie that drove him into the spotlight. Wayne plays a young scout, whose job is to guide a wagon train west. However along the way hw meets a lovely young woman (Played by Marguerite Churchill) and soon falls in love with her. Not all is love and games though on this trail. There also happens to be a group of troublemakers that are along for the ride. Having to learns the in and outs of love while also ducking and dodging those that may wish to see him dead, John Wayne has his hands full in this epic tale.
