Isn’t it awesome when the practices of “doing good” and “good business” coincide? Children’s Beach House has been in the business of doing good for 88 years. It’s what drives us as we partner with families, schools, and communities to build relationships of empowerment and bright futures for this generation and the next. In our Child Development Center, three- and four-year-olds learn the values of kindness and collaboration at the same time they’re learning their letters or exploring the beach. In our Youth Development Program, under-resourced children and youth from New Castle to Lewes to Seaford gather in weekend and summer camps to sharpen social skills and connect with each other and with competent, caring adults in transformative ways. In schools across the state, Children’s Beach House is showing up in IEP meetings and after-school programs to partner with parents and professionals who are all working hard to do good, and to do right by the children in our communities.

That life-changing work is the collaboration of many people and entities — civic groups, nonprofits, churches, and companies like yours — who believe that when children and families are empowered to flourish, the whole community becomes healthier and more prosperous. Behind every success story of a child who found their way in the world is a host of supporting actors who made it possible with gifts of time, wisdom, or money.
The Children’s Beach House Annual Charity Golf Event is one way we make that work possible. It’s a fun event for participants, and a big part of funding our mission to build a world where all children thrive. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for you to demonstrate your commitment to Delaware children, families, and communities while putting your business in front of hundreds of civic-minded potential customers. We are currently seeking sponsors (individuals, companies, or foundations) who can help us make this year’s event our most successful ever. And of course, the real measure of success is in the work it enables with our kids.
