Are the Danner Boots worth the extra money? I think so, if you can afford it. They are definitely more comfy for long hikes and I also find the grip to be better for slippery terrain. Plus, they have been more durable for me thus far. In saying that, the Columbia’s are an incredible budget-friendly boot and perfect for beginners.
