Luke Ellinas set up Matthew Andonovski for the overtime winner, as the two Ottawa Senators prospects teamed up to help the Kitchener Rangers extend their winning streak to seven games. Chicago Blackhawks draftee Jack Pridham scored twice, bringing his total to seven goals and 14 points in 11 games. Kingston led 2-0 early in the second period, but Kitchener responded with three unanswered goals to take control. Jackson Parsons made 26 saves to secure the win, while Nolan Lalonde stopped 31 shots for Kingston in the loss.
