CrockPot Mulled Wine is absolutely delicious! Whip It Up Wednesday!

Recipe:
1 Bottle of Red Wine
1 Orange (including peel - reserve a slice for garnish)
1 dried apricot (or a suitable amount of any dried fruit of your choosing)
2-4 Cinnamon Sticks (reserve one for garnish)
1/4 cup of honey or an amount suitable to you
1 star anise
4 cloves
Simmer on low for two hours in your slow cooker / crockpot and enjoy the warming aromai it gives off. Keep in mind that the alcohol content will be next to nothing when done. You can reserve / or add wine at the end to return alcohol back into the concoction.
