Everyone is too mean to the French, France was a good boy. They have a really good win loss ratio through history, and only got boned when the Germans flipped the script. They should have paid attention to what the Japanese were doing with tanks during the invasion of Manchuria though, then they may have seen what was coming. Then again in their defense, even Japan didn't pay attention to what Japan did with tanks in Manchuria.
