This is a 1902 Emerson upright piano #76557 with a black satin finish. All the hardware has been re-plated with brass. It has been thoroughly refurbished. The hammers are new, the shanks are new, and the pinning has been redone on all 88 hammers. The keys and bushings are new as well. The hammers were manufactured by Norbert Abel in Germany. A full regulation has been done; the keys are level, the distance you can press the keys has been corrected, and the hammers come within 1/8th of the string (indicating proper regulation). The trapwork (meaning everything to do with the pedals) has been sanded, buffed and redone.
