This is a shootout of the Neumann TLM 103 and the RODE NT1. I came across a post in a Discord where they mentioned that these two microphones sounded "pretty much identical". I recall that they sounded very different. So I put it to the test. I go through a pretty extensive set of back-and-forth to make the listener hear the differences between the two microphones. Imo there are many questions to be asked here. Do they sound identical - or near identical? We'll go through that in this vid.
