Hi 3D Printer Community. My name is George and I recently bought an Ender 3 v2 and a creality BL touch kit.
You have undoubtedly realised your cables are different to the guides available. Please follow my guide to re-pin your cables so that you don't blow your mother board. If you just plug things in and hope for the best you will either experience magic smoke which indicates motherboard damage or the firmware wont work.
Step 1:
Print these two items
1. [ Ссылка ]
2. [ Ссылка ] (spacer needed)
If your bed is slightly lower in the middle warped bed (i had this issue) Just move the 3d prints to the corner where its 100% level so you can get past all the bed level issues.
Step 2:
Look at this guide on how to do the upgrade. Then when you get to plugging in, come back here.

Thank you Smith 3D!
Step 3:
Ignore all the extra pieces that came with the bl touch kit. You only need the bl touch and its cable. I ran my cable with the black electrical mesh zip tied it all the way around my 3d printer all the way to the box. The best would be if you can slip it into the netting so its more secure but that was a lot more effort.
Step 4
If you use the extra pin boards like the creality official video it wont work with custom firmware and the official creality firmware froze my printer up and none of the stepper motors worked they just locked. So ignore all that.
Step 5.
So now you got the cable going all the way around to your MotherBoard. Now you want to only connect this to the large connector directly on the motherboard. If you do the mix connection with the 4 pin into the large white connection and the 2 pin in the z stopper motor area. The custom firmwares wont function. Well the Z axis only went up and not down for me.
Step 6 (MOST IMPORTANT).
The connection with the 3 cables Yellow, Blue and Red. You need to swap the Blue and Red cables around by unpinning and repinning them. I give some advice in the video how to do this. I used the metal of a paper clip (strip it so its metal if it has a plastic cover or you going to leave plastic in the pin). Then push from the front and use the sharp nozzle cleaner that comes with the 3d printer to carefuly lift the lock clip on the top. Then it should push out. Swap the two cables around. The colour code should read YELLOW,RED,BLUE INSTEAD of the original yellow blue red.
Step 7
Plug the small red plug with the white and black cable into the white Clip on MB the white cable must be where the "OUT"writting is written on MB so the white is going on the top side of the MB. The plastic piece that sticks out is facing the open area of the motherboard clip.
Step 8
The colour code should be exactly the same as the bl touch cable which is White, Black, Yellow Red, Blue. Please follow the writing on MB and this colour code.
White Cable = Out
Black Cable = G
Yellow= In
Red=V
Blue= G
Step 9
Connection will be lose so zip tie it to the other cables.
Close up, load the new firmware on the sd card, flash it and bingo you got bl touch working. You will know its working as it will turn on and the pin will come out twice.
Shout if you need any help.
