The RAM 1500 has a 48V starter motor and 48V lithium battery on board. It’s there to give additional 150Nm of torque. As a result there is NO 12V alternator on board…. BUT there is a 3,000W 48V to 12V converter. We estimate we can pull up to 2,700W from this if we tune Scotty up higher. That’s 210A at 12.8V. In this video you are seeing 2,100W at idle.
