I have talked about CDP_337ESD before, so this time I only wanted to show you the method of converting it from Japanese 100V AC to 240V AC as we have here in Australia.
Just get a new toroidal transformer made!

Will read absolutely any CD or CD-R, and fast too. Deals with 2.5mm interruptions in data layer and 3mm black lines painted on CD with no problem (Red Book Standard calls for 0.9mm).
I highly recommend it as a CD Transport.
I now have two of these, with the second waiting its turn for conversion.
