An LCA assesses the total environmental impact of a product. The people who paid for the study, an expert panel or the expert analyst who created that part of the LCA may sometimes give subjective judgements for the single impact score. Biased judgements may be made to help companies with their product. It may be difficult to accurately measure the environmental impact as there may not be any factual data, so inaccurate estimates may have to be made which leads to uncertainty in the single impact score.
