EU 집행위 "북한, 이란 등 10개국 돈세탁·테러자금지원 위험국"
The European Commission has blacklisted ten high-risk countries, including North Korea,... for money laundering and terrorist financing.
Some other nations on the list are Iran, Afghanistan and Syria.
They will be subject to stricter regulations like customs checks when doing business in the EU.
But on the same day... the list was promptly rejected by EU Council, which said it was too short and needed to include tax havens like Panama.
Since the January 2015 attacks on the French magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, the commission has adopted stricter rules against money laundering... and has been naming countries that could be exploited by militant organizations.
