Couscous is crushed durum wheat semolina formed into small granules or spheres. It’s commonly served in North African, Moroccan, Tunisian, and Algerian cuisine. Couscous is a convenient product to have stocked in the pantry as an easy and fast alternative to rice, quinoa, and noodles. When cooked they look like golden spheres that have a pleasant nutty flavour. The texture can range from slightly coarse yet tender for smaller types, or chewy for larger varieties.
Today I'am making Couscous in a different way and this recipe is easy to follow. I think preparing food in a different way make you learn something new and also a way to show your love for your family.
Ingredients: (For two person)
Couscous 1 cup
Garlic 3 cloves, chopped
One onion, chopped
Some Bell peppers, chopped
Green peas 2 tbsp
Carrot 2 tbsp, chopped
Some Coriander leaves, finely chopped
Eggs 2
Olive oil 4 tbsp
Chilli flakes 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
Pepper 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
අවශ්ය ද්රව්ය: (දෙදෙනෙක් සදහා)
කුස්කුස් කෝප්ප 1
පොඩියට කපාගත් සුදුළූණු බික් 3
පොඩියට කපාගත් ලොකුළූණු ගෙඩි 1
පොඩියට කපාගත් බෙල් පෙපර් ටිකක්
ග්රීන්පීස් මේස හැදි 2
පොඩියට කපාගත් කැරට් මේස හැදි 2
පොඩියට කපාගත් කොත්තමල්ලි කොල ටිකක්
බිත්තර 2
ඔලිව් ඔයිල් මේස හැදි 4
කෑලිමිරිස් තේ හැදි 1
කොත්තමල්ලි කුඩු තේ හැදි 1/4
ගම්මිරිස් තේ හැදි 1/4
රස අනුව ලුණු
