Float ledgering is a fishing techniques that uses the best parts of float fishing combined with the best bits of ledgering. And as such it is a method of fishing I really enjoy and also do quite a bit of, when I am not tied up drop shotting for perch that is.
Float ledgering used to be a real head ache, what with finding the depth of the water and tying stop knots to keep the float at the right height, only to find there is a trench or underwater bank if you cast a little off the original mark.
The Locslide ledger float is a bit of fishing gear that not only finds the depth of the water easily but also self cocks and negates the need for stop knots. If the depth of the water changes, i.e. you cast to a hole, a trench or a plateau the Locslide float will adjust itself accordingly. The Locslide ledger float makes float ledgering easy and hassle free.
