In this video, I show where to find each of the five cuddlefish eggs hidden throughout the Subnautica map. In coming across a randomly placed time capsule, I actually found six cuddlefish eggs while making this video, but this is not typical.

Cuddlefish is a species of fauna found in Subnautica. They are small, cute, and colorful creatures that can be found in a variety of biomes. They are relatively harmless and can be approached and interacted with safely. Cuddlefish are tame and and can be kept as a pet. When you find a cuddlefish egg, hatch it and feed it. Upon release, the cuddlefish hatchling will then follow you as you progress through the game. You'll also get the "man's best friend" Subnautica achievement.

In addition, cuddlefish can be used as a food or energy source. (Why would you do that? Who hurt you?)

Included below are coordinates for each egg. An MK3 Seamoth upgrade is required to reach all five eggs. I also recommend a Seamoth perimeter defense system to protect against aggressive Leviathan class foes.
