This video is about machining a brass bushing to press fit into the center of a cast iron wheel, so that it can be used on a different diameter axle. The wheel has been in use and is worn so the hub center is first bored out to be concentric with the rim. A brass plug is then machined to a diameter which will give an interference fit with the wheel center and then pressed into position. The plug is then drilled out to fit the new axle diameter.
