Scammers are taking advantage of the Screen Sharing feature of different apps to embark on financial fraud activities. With Screen share scams, the victim does not have to do anything other than enable the screen share option, as requested by cybercriminals.

When screen sharing is enabled, scammers will have real-time access to your smartphone screen and they can read messages and OTPs that you might receive, check
your gallery and empty your bank accounts.

There are many apps which provide screen sharing features such as:

- Anydesk
- TeamViewer
- Airdroid
- Screenshare
- Chrome Remote Desktop
- Microsoft Remote Desktop
- WhatsApp Screen Sharing Feature
- Any other remote access apps/softwares

These apps are useful but You need to be very careful while using such apps/features. If you don't know how these are used, it's better to avoid downloading them altogether.
