In this session, you’ll discover how you can exercise in a way that lets you manage, and potentially reduce, your pain. Leon will explain how you can tailor exercises to suit your musculoskeletal condition by applying the FITT principle, which stands for Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type. This session covers a range of movements from cardio fitness to coordination and balance exercises.
Items to bring along: for floor-based exercises use a mat and if needed use towels to support your head and spine when laying down. For some of the resistance exercises bring along some household items such as tins or small water bottles; a chair will also be helpful.
