Multiple fire crews battled a three-alarm fire that struck five townhomes in Edgewood early Monday morning. According to officials, a fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. in a group of townhomes in the 1900 block of Brookside Drive. "The crews, at the direction of command, pulled out from all the structures that were involved and went to an exterior attack to safely extinguish the fire and get firefighters inside the homes to properly work further to extinguish the fire," Fallston Deputy Fire Chief Daniel McKinney said.
